Born in London, I lived in Singapore, Belgium as well as the UK. I have been fortunate to travel the world taking photographs for over 40 years and have covered a wide range of subjects; a small selection featuring in different categories on my website.

I spent 11 years in the British Army with the Household Cavalry Regiment and trained as a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps. I have had some wonderful opportunities for my photography, I was commissioned for a 'fly-on-the-wall' shoot for the Chelsea Pensioners over a year, and had access to the Household Cavalry produced some of the other close range images in my Ceremonial section.  Flying allowed me to shoot from some stunning vantage points in the UK, Belize, Canada and across Europe. I love travel and wildlife photography, as well as aviation, social and ceremonial events, though not limited to that!  Some of my photographs and tips also feature in The Photographer's Guide to Venice which was authored by Marco Ryan.

My work brings great creative pleasure and whilst there is always a need for an artistic eye and ability, nothing beats ‘being in the right place, at the right time – with a camera!’ My first camera was an Olympus OM1 followed by a series of Minolta cameras. Since the advent of digital, I use mainly Canon DSLRs.

Based in Bedfordshire, I am happy to travel within the UK or abroad. My pricing is competitive  and I am available on request for commercial and branding photography, editing remits as well as commissions for portraits, events, family and animals.
